Bible message for the day of pentecost. We thank God for the encouraging message through the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that we all experience Holy Spirit, and decide to follow Jesus each day! God bless us all!

It's a Golden Week in jp. It's different this time.  God bless you all

This third I will put into the fire;
    I will refine them like silver
    and test them like gold.
They will call on my name
    and I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are my people,’
    and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
 
Zechariah 13:9
 
     This was my thoughts of the day/week/life. 
 
     Isn’t one third of the population sounds too small to be saved? I want to hear the Gospel message saying everyone will be saved by Jesus. I know it has to be a narrow road, but one third, and from that one third, we will be tested by the refiner’s fire.  Sounds like a harsh harsh word for me.
 
     I have to look at other things in here also. In here, the writer stated as a God’s word for him that “like silver” and “like gold”.  When we believe God, we are like silver and gold!  We will be purified by the Holy Spirit to become pure silver and pure gold!!!
 
    I go back to the word from Zechariah13. Striking people to one third here, in Japanese Bible, also means like sifting the sand and make it one third.  In the New testament, Jesus said “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. (Mark 10:15)”. We also call ourselves “Children of God” when we are saved. No Christian on this world is without the father. Father in Heaven is our true father. We love our biological father and honor him, yes. Heavenly Father is for all of us, different level. If the God is the Creator God, then how does the Father strike His children to one third like sifting sand? That is not possible. God does not do that.
 
     It is up to us if we want to hear from God. It’s a free will, and the prophecy tells me that only the one third will understand God’s way, and only the purified ones will be called “my people”. Again, I don’t believe any child is born bad. Children’s world is a reflection of the adults world. I want to pray today that we, adults, believe God and protect kid. When we pray to God “My God” and ask things and give thanks, then He will say “My people”. 
 
Praise the Lord for all He has done, and also what He will do for us as a wonderful Plan for all!!! Remember, you are silver and gold. Beautiful one.

"わたしは、その三分の一を火の中に入れ、銀を練るように彼らを練り、金をためすように彼らをためす。彼らはわたしの名を呼び、わたしは彼らに答える。わたしは「これはわたしの民」と言い、彼らは「主は私の神」と言う。"
ゼカリヤ書　13章9節


　今週のわたしの苦悩は、「主はこの世の三分の二を絶やして、残りの三分の一をふるいにかけたのこりを『これはわたしの民』というのか。」ということです。あまりに少ないと思いました。私は私の周りにいる愛する人たちにその三分の二とふるいにかけられてしまった人になってほしくないのです。私は「すべての人は神様によって作られ、愛されている」というメッセージが聞きたいです。少しかけはなれているではないですか。残酷ではないですか。ひどい。


　同じくここで言われているのは「銀を練るように、、、金をためすように、、、、。」です。神さまが作ったものに対して、銀や金の高価なものにたとえ、その純粋さをもとめて精錬され、純粋な金銀にしようとしているということですね。私たちは、神様からみて金や銀なのです。イエスは子どもたち見て「子どもたちをここにこさせなさい。天の御国はこのようなもののための国です。（マタイ19:14）」といいましたし「子どものようにならないと天の御国にはいることはできません（マルコ10:15）」など、子どものたとえ話をたくさんされました。
　
　最初のゼカリヤ書にもどります。よく考えても、子どもをふるいにかけて少ない人数だけ天国にいれるというのはなんともきびしいです。子どもたちは、大人を見てそだっているのですから、生まれたときから悪い子どもはいないですよね。子どもたちの社会はいつでもおとな社会の鏡にうつった社会だと考えます。最近は大人たちが対人コミュニケーション力かけているといえるのではないでしょうか。そこで、子どもたちに「しっかり神様とお話しして関係をもちましょうね。」というのはあまりに難しい話です。大人がICT, smartphone, pc 等の便利さを使いこなして、ふりまわされずに、しっかり周りの人に対してかかわって、神様の愛をつたえて、はじめて子どもにも神様の愛が伝わると思います。


　私たちはどんな状況でも神に感謝し「主は私の神」と言うことで、神は「これはわたしの民」だと言って、金や銀である自分の美しさを求めて生きていきたいものです。お祈りします。
